We are Bonnyprints, an owner-managed, Berlin-based, web-to-print provider that is primarily active in the DACH region and generating several million euros in sales per year. Since our foundation, we have printed and shipped over 70 million products with our brand “wunderkarten”.

As a dynamic family team, it is our mission to connect people with each other and to help them share their most important moments in life - through quality, personalized solutions, and an excellent customer service.

Our history

Bonnyprints & Rocket Internet

2008 – 2015

Bonnyprints was founded in 2008. In addition to Germany, Bonnyprints is active in Austria, Switzerland, Great Britain and France at this time and employs a total of 22 people. As a major investor, Rocket Internet, one of the largest startup incubators in Germany, owns the majority of the shares.

Bonnyprints & Planet Cards

2015 – 2020

Bonnyprints and the associated shop wunderkarten are sold to the French company Planet Cards, which, in addition to its headquarters in Toulouse, also has a location in Berlin. The merger makes a strategic contribution to the continued success of both companies: together, they take over the German market leadership in the field of personalized event cards. The two brands will continue to operate independently of one another, but existing IT infrastructures and production facilities will be jointly used.

Bonnyprints' Reorganisation

Ab 2020

In 2020, Planet Cards sells the Bonnyprints to Valentin Lewandowski, who has been managing director for many years. The wunderkarten brand is now independent and has since pushed the strategic realignment in the German-speaking area. At the beginning of 2021, 25 employees are working exclusively on the further development of the brand.

September 2021

Zum dritten Mal in der 13-jährigen Unternehmensgeschichte ändert Bonnyprints, das bei der Gründung noch Ecards and more GmbH hieß, seinen Namen. Seit der Loslösung von der Planet Cards Gruppe wird nun ein weiterer Schritt vollzogen, das Unternehmen eigenständig zu entwickeln und mit einer klaren Marken- und Namensgebung auszustatten. Mit Wunderkarten wird die langjährige Marke und Website des Unternehmens nun auch komplett in den Namen der Gesellschaft integriert, um für unsere Kundschaft und Geschäftspartner*innen Klarheit zu schaffen.
